When visiting New Zealand in 2004, we had the opportunity to follow in the footpath of Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings production crew. We visited numerous locations where key scenes of these movies were filmed.
Unfortunately the sets themselves were already wrapped up and most props were also torn down. Nevertheless, most of the locations were very recognizable.
This unique experience was the kick-off for our quest for
movie set locations all over the world. During our several trips abroad, over the last few
years, we managed to track down a large number of sites where scenes from very famous
films were shot.
In the following pages you will find, what has become a big collection of our location
photos and reference shots from the movies themselves.
We hope you enjoy our website, as much as we did finding
these movie locations.
